There’s a rhythm to stress that’s as old as the body itself — a cycle of answering the call, meeting the trials, and returning to rest. It’s the same arc you’ll see in the hero’s journey, where a call to adventure leads to challenges, victories, and a return home. But somewhere in our modern lives, that rhythm gets scrambled. We stay in one part of the cycle for too long, or skip stages entirely, until the body doesn’t know the story is over.
